This food is going to Santa Cruz Humane in Arizona, to be fed to their animals and hopefully to be fed to dogs and cats who will be brought over the border from Nogales Mexico in the near future. We are delighted to be a part of this wonderful gift.

Please donate to Paws Across the Border, Inc. Donations help us to work on wonderful projects such as this.

Our dream is going to be a reality-After speaking with Alma Morfin, of Aprodea-the local volunteer group in Ciudad Juarez, I am pleased and proud to announce that land has been given to Aprodea on which to build an animal shelter, run by Aprodea. For the first time, some of the street dogs and cats of Juarez will be given the chance to live in safety and comfort until adopted. Finally, these dogs and cats will have regular meals and clean water, not to mention, medical care.

Aprodea has worked long and hard for this success. We have pledged our support to assist in the building of the shelter. Groundbreaking is scheduled for 2007.

Please continue to support Paws Across the Border, Inc. We plan to continue our assistance to Nogales, Mexico and their spay/neuter program as well as helping to build the shelter in Juarez. These are ambitious plans and we need your help to end the suffering of the street dogs and cats in these cities.

Happy Holidays!
Together with local vets and volunteers, our four day clinics will be the start of curbing the population growth of an estimated 65,000 to 100,000 dogs, most of whom are homeless or "street dogs." The living conditions for these dogs are awful; starvation and disease are rampant.

As a team, we are confronting this problem head on. Many thanks to our supporters, here in Silver Spring who have made this clinic possible-
